TRAINING POST VACCINATION

Generally training post-covid is subjected to how you experience some of the mild side effects going along with the vaccine. Because of the limited research and real understanding of the different vaccines we are going to be following the safe route!
Some studies have found cases of myocarditis post vaccination but they are rare. According to BBC The EMA analysis of cases found:
  • Pfizer-BioNTech - 145 cases of myocarditis and 138 cases of pericarditis out of 177m doses given

At Trivium we will not risk any athletes health and we will be taking the following approach when you receive the vaccine:

Easy Low Heart Rate training the day the day before receiving vaccination

VACCINATION DAY

Complete Day off

Complete day off
or
Recovery day

(slow walk and mobility session)

Depending on how your body reacts post-vaccine. You will train for 5-days on low heart rate and low volume. If any symptoms is shown = completely off

I am receiving my vaccine
